My Black Is Beautiful Celebrates 10 Successful Years at Essence Festival!!

July 5, 2016

My Black Is Beautiful is an African-American community-building platform, and recently celebrated 10 successful years of initiating and sustaining a broad dialogue around black beauty at Essence Festival in New Orleans. As the Official Sponsor of the Beauty and Style Expo within Essence Festival, MBIB galvanized thousands of African-American women and encouraged them to continue to fuel conversations around beauty and pride.

Festival-goers who stopped by the MBIB both were offered interactive, educational and engaging experiences that inspired them to be #BeautyEmpowered, while connecting them with P&G products with benefits for their hair and skin. A few celebrities such as: KeKe Wyatt, LeToya Luckett, Claudia Jordan, Christian Keyes, Jordin Sparks, Kenny Lattimore, and Amber Riley also stopped by to join in on the celebration! We look forward to the continued growth of this movement! Congratulations My Black Is Beautiful!
